





PROVEN CONSERVATIVE LEADERSHIP
Since 2019, Rick Pate has served as Alabama’s Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries. As Commissioner, Rick modernized the Department, launched Sweet Grown Alabama to promote local farms, and established the state’s Farm-to-School initiative and “Thank a Farmer” campaign. He has built new labs, created loan programs for meat processing facilities, and acquired grants to support local fruit and vegetable producers, including $14.4 million to supply local food banks and low-income schools.
Rick has supported veterans through initiatives like the At-Ease Therapy Farming program and Operation Grow. He served as President of the Southern U.S. Trade Association and is a member of multiple state halls of fame.
In 2020 and 2024, Rick served as an RNC Delegate for President Trump. He also served as one of the nine Electoral College electors for President Trump in both elections. He and his wife, Julie, have been married for 36 years and have two sons, Richard (Karolina) and James (Talia).
